When I saw the Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Pisces on last Tuesday, I thought it looked pretty harmless and cuddly and anticipated a generally uneventful week because most of the time favorable aspects to Venus benefit Libra but only if there are not contra-indicators in one’s personal chart.
With Pisces on the cusp of my fourth house, the Venus-Jupiter conjunction in my third and Uranus in Pisces trine my Ascendant in the fourth house, I ended up having to devote considerable time to home and family matters. There were plenty of unscheduled twists and turns making it darn near impossible to take care of other business. On top of that all I wanted to do was kick back and relax in solitude (Venus-Jupiter conjunction was trine natal Jupiter in the twelfth).
Today we have our kids and granddaughter coming to visit to celebrate our granddaughter’s third birthday. She requested a chocolate theme for the party and I made red velvet cocoa cupcakes with fudge frosting for her. Yes . . . more family stuff!
The Sun joined the Pisces contingent on Thursday and it would not surprise me if this next month there is not some little home improvement project in the works. Maybe some fresh paint here and there which is always good for brightening the home.
I still hope to continue to at least throw up these short posts frequently. They have turned out to be something I can do quickly and easily and so far this is going well.
Happy Pisces season everyone!
Image: Here is the other family member who keeps me busy every day . . .

i enjoy your short posts, neith. i’m really glad they work for you, too.
your dog is so CUTE it’s criminal. she’s got a really naughty look about her, though..!
the conjunction is/was in my 3rd house, but i think it will take some time yet before i see where it goes.
God, Tater! You’ve grown as tall as a string bean
!
(She’s adorable. Love those curious eyes.)
Funny. I’ve been saying to my husband that our apartment needs a ‘lift’. We’ve been planning on new furniture for some time, have some money put away for it, and I think that moment has arrived. We really want this Spring to be awesome and productive! And a ‘lift’ would inspire us so.
Enjoy the festivities! Red velvet cocoa cupcakes with FUDGE frosting? Mmmmmm. Your granddaughter is the luckiest three-year-old in the world. Happy birthday to her!
Hmm I’ve also been spending considerable time tending to domestic and family issues. Even though the reasons are far from being pleasant, at least I’m keeping busy and feeling slightly useful. I guess if those planets are in Pisces, they are probably opposing my 6th house.
Hey DM,
Family stuff can be tough because no one can push our “buttons” like our nearest and dearest.
Bet you are keeping an eye on the upcoming Saturn-Uranus oppositions, especially in Libra-Aries. I know I am . . .

Hey Deb!
That Tater dog is growing like a weed and becoming a gangly adolescent. My husband put a low hot wire fence around some of our garden to keep her out of mischief. So cute and so mischievous!!
Buying new furniture?! Wow! I didn’t know what new furniture was until we bought a couple of recliners a few years back. Still living with mostly family hand-me-downs. Probably always will too.
The cupcakes were a hit but yesterday’s Sun inconjunct Mars made for a weird atmosphere. I had this feeling most of the people there were smiling & friendly on the surface but had a whole bunch of sh*t going on underneath. Creeped me out so I spent most of the time playing with the birthday girl. Three is a nice age and with her outgoing Gemini rising, she is fun kid.

Hi Christy!
Yeah, I like your short posts too. Good thing they are working because neither of us has time for writing long and involved! In general my writing style has always tended to be short and to the point (Mercury inconjunct Uranus). Pat Paquette told me she is the opposite, preferring to write long articles with tons of research (Mercury in Capricorn in the 12th widely conjunct Venus in Cappy – no Uranus in the picture).
My puppy is currently learning about being tied up to keep her out of trouble. So far she is not howling so that’s good.

I just realized the way I was responding to comments using the edit function made it very, very difficult to see what I wrote. Bleh. Will do a separate reply from here on out.
