As the date approaches for Jupiter to leave easy going Pisces and leap into Aries, it occurs to me taking some precautions and practicing saying “No” to harebrained schemes might be a good plan for those of us who need time to make our decisions.
I really truly DO NOT like feeling pressured or rushed when I have to make critical decisions . . . or even deciding if a decision is critical or not. My Mars-Mercury conjunction in the fixed sign of Scorpio does not function at high speed and with all my Libra screaming for more time to think things over, my automatic response to someone yelling at me to make up my mind is to say “NO” first. This is primarily a defense mechanism to buy me more time but does not always sit well with others.
There is little doubt in my mind Jupiter in Aries is going to be brash, sure of its self and prone to pushing for immediate action. Combined with Uranus we end up with an extreme lack of patience and people everywhere running in place ready to leap into action. When Saturn returns to Libra, Libras everywhere may be required to slam on the brakes to prevent the Wil E. Coyotes (Jupiter conj Uranus in Aries) from running off the cliff into open air. Thankfully we will have plenty of Capricorn types, courtesy of Pluto in Capricorn, to help us. There is no better foot dragger than a Cappie in full cry demanding all the proper forms be notarized and filled out in triplicate. It may sound harsh and will fuel tempers but in the long run (Saturn) this will prove the best course of action (cardinal).
For those of us with Sun, Moon and Rising in Libra, I offer a cautionary note on being very, very careful to go over your internal relationship checklist before dumping your current partner for someone who may appear a better choice. Jupiter in the seventh house urges us to upgrade and improve but once the shininess wears off we may find no significant improvements. More people choose to leave/divorce their current partners under a Jupiter transit to the seventh house than under a Saturn transit.
Are you ready for the next big shift into Aries, June 5-6? I admit to a large measure of apprehension, however since Jupiter at 29° Pisces inconjunct my Sun bugs me, I’m game for a change.

Agreed about the ‘leaving your partner for someone shiny’ – Jupiter is always a blessing, even if not bearing actual gold. His lessons or gifts can seem so Saturn’ish though, and it is amazing how repetitive his patterns can be. My first marriage was definitely karmic – second Jupiter return in Leo actually, on the exact point, which has always freaked me out as he was and is such an arse. Gentle reminder of my Scorpio SN background possiblity lol :S Hopefully, that karma is done and dusted, sheesh. Anyway, I detested him and did nothing about it whilst Jupiter was in Aquarius but left him ‘wham’ right when Jupiter went into Pisces, exact 0 degree! As you mention with the ‘Capricorn’ influence, it was Mars on Saturn also that started this ball rolling, in Aries too! Plus I had a stack of asteroids firing up my Cap Moon and Cancer Sun, so it was all very right for the time. However, the subsequent years of Jupiter through the beginning signs were ‘terrible’ regards relationships, Saturn in Taurus then Gemini didn’t help at all. I may as well have been back in dern high school, it was such a loserfest. Until, 3rd Jupiter return and Saturn into Cancer, where I am completely off men, for months and months from this time – contented and what not – and he (Jupiter) sextiles my Sun when in Virgo, and voila, meet present hubbie who I would not swap for Brad Pitt, or Eric Bana!!!
So yes, a decent illustration of your energy description as my chart is always an energy puppet. Whilst the Jupiter is ‘attractive’ and offers great promise as you mention, you need Saturn in a good, solid ‘relationship’ place and a solid amount of Earth to really make it all into something tangible. Saturn in Libra should be good and I am excited to see what happens when Mars joins the equation too
OOOH! Thank you SO much for a great synopsis of your Jupiter-Saturn transits!
The right partner for us is a very real blessing. Glad you found yours after going through the relationship wars. Some of us it just takes time to get our sh*t together to the point we are finally ready for the real deal.

Heh, the Venus-Mars conj in Libra later this year will be a major relationship pot stirrer!!

Oh and should have added regards the repetitive patterns, whilst my marriage isn’t on the cards this time, at least not for me :O lol – work is under much focus. I spent the entire Jupiter in Aquarius bumming around from one huge project to another, detesting most things, loving nothing I did really, then the ingress into Pisces had the same ‘wham’ even if still clouded. At least I know that come Jupiter in Leo again lol I’ll have it sorted out in my noggin!

Least we forget, Jupiter in Aquarius spent too much time in close proximity to Neptune & Chiron . . . generating plenty of hot air and not much else!
heh I was literally hot air rising :O
Hi Diane
!
No offense, but I’m doing better right now than my Capricorn friends. They have their heads on straight, it seems, but they’re stubborn as hell underneath all that surface straightness. Not always practical nor open-minded either, many of them like shiny things and, of course, they “always know what’s best for you”.
Blech.
I do very much appreciate and agree with a particular Capricorn friend who’s said, “I’m right. And until anyone can prove I’m not right in this matter, I’m right.”
For practicality and some help with decision making, I’m proud to say that I look to my Virgo husband! No one breaks reality down like a Virgo in my eyes, and all without something in return.
We Librans need to give ourselves a hell of a lot more credit, these days. I, for one, admit that I like this push to make a decision. It’s necessary. I used to dilly-dally way too much, and now I feel empowered being able to just either say “yes” or “no” and leave it at that, without a lengthy explanation. And not feel guilty about it
.
It will be nice to have Saturn back on our side. And as Karen mentions, Mars as well. Yee-haw!
Hey Deb!
of course, they “always know what’s best for you”.
Grrrrrrrrr! For those I reserve my most bland Scorpio face, nod my head up and down, and TOTALLY IGNORE THEM to do exactly what I was going to in the first place!

Chris is a major sweetie and so genuine. He also has excellent taste . . .
You are one lucky lady and thankfully, you know it.
Saturn can clear out of Virgo any time now. I liked him in Libra much better.

LOL! Saturn is a happy camper in Libra, ain’t he? The old man likes us, and others will have to deal. Our turn! Yippeeeee.
Miss you, lady
. Have been absolutely swamped with work and school and life, so go to bed earlier, but I can’t wait to share some goings-on soon. I actually have some potent posts coming…
Boy, everyone sure has a story to tell these days, huh? Mamma mia. I am privileged to hear them, to be entrusted with them, especially when they don’t come from big whiny, babies. So done with whiny babies.
