Full Moon in Scorpio Cycle Reflections

As the Full Moon in Scorpio cycle is winding up there are a couple of lessons that hopefully have been pounded into my head. Since Scorpio runs from the cusp of my 12th house into my 1st (with Taurus on the 6th into the 7th), my lessons are reflecting that axis.

First, it was brought home to me ONE MORE TIME, it is important to nurture one’s self and don’t take on too much. I simply can not help everyone who needs it from family to clients. It’s also called spreading one’s self to thin and no one benefits then. With both Venus, ruler of my Sun and Moon, and the Sun in Taurus having traveled through the 6th house telling me to slow down and rejuvenate, the message was pretty clear.

Second, there is a lack of clarity in my thinking is due to the Neptune/North Node/Chiron stellium in my 3rd house squaring Mercury/Mars/ASC. Neptune. Neptune in Aquarius pushes service in a big way reinforcing the whole 12th house thing. In fact, this particular stellium is all about the big picture and it’s very easy to lose sight of important details like not taking on more than one person can handle. Neptune squaring my Ascendant brings the projection factor into the equation too so the mirror is up and running and neither I nor those looking at me are getting an accurate picture. Chiron is helpful here because there is nothing like a little pain to clear the head โ€“ emphasis on ‘little’.

Looks like I am going to pay more attention to being honest with myself about how much I can take on and maintain consistent quality. While I love to wander around the astro-blogosphere, commenting here and there, it takes up far too much time right now. With both flower and vegetable gardens needing attention [not to mention grass needing mowing], meals to prepare and a website to host with Pat plus responding to clients in a timely manner . . . yes, my life is pretty busy, good but busy.

This is more in the way of an acknowledgement life is a process and it’s far better to learn to accept what it brings with a degree of grace. Still finding time to post here and that’s a very good thing!

For more on this second Full Moon in Scorpio, read my post on Real Astrologers, Second Full Moon in Scorpio – May 19/20.

The ‘green’ deepens and the only trees still to leaf out fully are the hardwoods. Tomorrow after the Moon moves into Scorpio, I’m going to transplant my pepper and tomato plants in the garden.

Neith: Sounds like a good plan at any time. :-) I suspect that Jupiter and Uranus have been generating lots of exciting ideas, but then there’s the reality of what can actually be done, and done well. But being a Libra I’m sure you’ll find the balance!BTW, I love these series of photos – it’s like a time-lapse of spring.

I suspect that Jupiter and Uranus have been generating lots of exciting ideas, but then there’s the reality of what can actually be done, and done well. You’re right. And Virgo is probably the best at prioritizing this sort of thing. Now that Saturn is in motion and heading towards my MC, it will help in this area.BTW, I love these series of photos – it’s like a time-lapse of spring. Thanks! It’s a pleasure to have the time to do these. Nothing quite like stopping to focus on the beauties in nature to unwind the tight places in the psyche.

First, it was brought home to me ONE MORE TIME, it is important to nurture one’s self and don’t take on too much. That’s a fairly common noobish thing. (Since come June, I will have been doing the electronic communication thing for 25 years, so I know, having done it myself on occasion.)I simply can not help everyone who needs it from family to clients. It’s also called spreading one’s self to thin and no one benefits then.Do what you need to do and ignore everyone (including me) that you need to ignore. While I love to wander around the astro-blogosphere, commenting here and there, it takes up far too much time right now.Do what you need to do; concentrate on the bidness.max['I suppose this full moon will be as a lovely as the last.']

Hopefully there will be some time in the middle of all those to reflect on these astrological events.I certainly need to, as I had a bit of Mercury hell lately. Serves me right for voting: No worries! lolMail deliveries were delayed AND I had no phone and internet connection for more than 3 days. If that’s not Mercury, I don’t know what is.But it wasn’t so bad, I got to do other things, even though some things were non-voluntarily delayed. *sigh* back to normal now.

['I suppose this full moon will be as a lovely as the last.']I’m sure you are already braced for this one. How’s life on Neptune?! :-D Working on resigning myself to the notion the Aquarius stellium is going nowhere fast and just living with the effects . . . maybe when Saturn moves on we can catch a break. [Yes, I'm an optimist or nutz]

Mail deliveries were delayed AND I had no phone and internet connection for more than 3 days. If that’s not Mercury, I don’t know what is.LOL! I’ve officially got my fingers crossed we will see fewer problems once Mercury is moving backwards and pulling away from the square to Uranus. Uranus is going to be sitting at 22 degrees for quite some time [like first week in August].

Yikes, that’s almost an exact square to my Sun. I expect to be very restless until then and then some more later ;)

  • neith

Yikes, that’s almost an exact square to my Sun. I expect to be very restless until then and then some more later ;) sure is!! You are getting a major push to express your unique gifts because Uranus is semi-sextile your ASC as well as square your Sun/Jupiter.

Those little Libras are people-pleasers, eh, neith?Scorpios only care about pleasing themselves. (and their attached ones)Are we in a Merc. retro yet? Cuz the ‘puters are certainly acting like it. I spent all weekend sulking because I had an outage on my home internet. Only to find out that turning off the modem/router for 30 seconds fixes it. And now, friends of mine’s internet is acting up. So just remember, unplug the bloody thing on the offchance that’ll fix things. Can we unplug my brain now?I also spent my entire weekend becoming reacquainted with Indiana Jones and also with real archeologists who act just like me.

  • casey

Make that “just like HIM” cuz I don’t act like an archeologist. I act like an anal-retentive seismic data processor cuz that’s what I am.Now I’m off to pick up the sick kitty at the vet cuz he picked up a parasite. sigh. it’s been an expensive weekend.

Those little Libras are people-pleasers, eh, neith? It’s true . . . the balance between looking after one’s self & accomodating others is hard to find some times.Scorpios only care about pleasing themselves. (and their attached ones)this statement is very true of my Scorpio sister w/Cancer rising. She is a very good person but to put it politely had major boundary issues with her daughters . . . Good point about unplugging/powering off computers and related bits of tech. Have had success with that method more than a few times. :-D I also spent my entire weekend becoming reacquainted with Indiana JonesLove those movies! Did you watch the young Indiana Jones shows made for TV?

  • casey

No, but I watched a bunch of real-life archeologists all say, to a man (or woman), “I HATE SNAKES!”Seems it’s a big occupational hazard. Young Indy is about all I DIDN’T watch. Forgot that River Phoenix was in the third movie. Loved that actor. Eric got lectures for years on what to do if your friend is having seizures in front of you on the sidewalk. (Why didn’t someone call 911????)Watched that special about 13 crystal skulls (real world)…rolled my eyes so hard they almost got stuck that way. Especially when they were walking the maze on the vortex in Sedona. my mother would have loved it. They’re gonna save the world in 2012, you know.ya know, sometimes I don’t sound like a gullible little pisces. Sometimes I sound like a highly suspicious scorpio.

my mother would have loved it. They’re gonna save the world in 2012, you know.I’m waiting breathlessly too . . . NOT!ya know, sometimes I don’t sound like a gullible little pisces. Sometimes I sound like a highly suspicious scorpio.Yeah, when my progressed Sun was in Sagittarius I was more of a believer but that wore off after awhile . . . far more suspicious and just plain tired of the woo woo stuff now. I like astrology because the correlations are pretty clear.

[Feeds work again!]I’m sure you are already braced for this one. How’s life on Neptune?! :-D Ahem: huh?Working on resigning myself to the notion the Aquarius stellium is going nowhere fast and just living with the effects . . . maybe when Saturn moves on we can catch a break. [Yes, I'm an optimist or nutz]Am I that pessimistic? Usully I am not that pessimistic – the last year I have been, but my heliacal rising Spica is starting to talk again, maybe.max['Hope hope hope.']

  • neith

Ahem: huh?Neptune/Chiron/NN squaring your natal Sun/Neptune conjunction?! Sounds like a lot of Neptune to me . . . ::grin::but my heliacal rising Spica is starting to talk again, maybe.Fixed Stars are on my list of things to learn more about. I have Caput Algol on my descendant and when I read about it, it sounded very scary. However a friend who is more knowledgeable said it was more likely intense relationships. Yup, that’s for sure!!
