Yesterday’s New Moon in Cancer had teeth . . . at least for me. It triggered so many different points in my chart I ended up overloaded and had to take some down time. Between the Saturn in Libra-New Moon square affecting my Libra Sun and Mars in Libra with all its baggage conjoining my Neptune, it was like an energy tsunami rolling over me.
This is always a very busy time of year around here with garden produce to harvest and all the other outside chores. As someone who lives with an Aries who’s Sun is being affected by the Uranus-Pluto square, my daily life is somewhat unsettled . . . hard on a fixed sign emphasis person. Fitting in writing time can be a challenge so responding to client’s needs will take precedence over feeding my blog. I sincerely hope the pace slows some when Mars in Libra transitions into Scorpio on 23 August. Between now and then I will do my best to maintain my usual posting schedule but if I miss once in awhile, chalk it up to Mars and Saturn in Libra rolling over my Libra planets. 
Did I mention the little Uranus Rx problem I’ve been having being unable to reach my website consistently? Anyone else getting a “server not found” error message once in awhile for Libra Seeking Balance?
Did anyone else get pulled under in one way or another by this New Moon? Was it the cardinal T-Square or Sun-Saturn square or both?

Computer issues! Ee gads! Then the new moon. Of course, I decided to detox from sugar. Let’s say yesterday I wanted to curl up in a fetal position on the floor and cry! Instead I MADE myself go on a group bike ride with strangers. Glad I went. It felt good to move! I haven’t had time to really look at my chart, but not sure I need to!

Bet it has to do with Uranus stationing Rx conj your natal Saturn in the 3rd whilst sextile Mercury in Leo.
Instead I MADE myself go on a group bike ride with strangers. Glad I went.
Always the best policy for you with your Mars in Sagittarius. Getting outside & moving is just the ticket!

Thanks for the welcome. Yes I do have Mars conjucnt Jupiter and Venus all in scorpio. I am being hit everyway you can be. Everyday is a test to my sanity. I never know who I will be that day!!!! Like I said I’m so glad I found you site.It is very grounded.Which I really need now.Thanks again!!!

Ah yes . . . the pitfalls of Sun conj Neptune. Dealing with what others project on you has to be challenging at times too.
Lynn Hayes of Astrological Musings has her Libra Sun conj Neptune AND Saturn. She has written about living with that stellium over the years.

Hi Diane Amen to that. The statement bout Neptune on my Sun.Right on my fourth house cusp. I have so much family junk Im dealing with now.My 90 year old mother and I are going round and round.She has Sun and merc and Venus all in Taurus in the third. Aquarius rising with Uranus in the first in pices. It opposes all my venus mars and jupiter in Scorp. OMG we are going round and round.She is afraind to be alone and her boyfriend yes she has a boyfriend who are on again off again and drives me crazy calling me 5to 7 times a day. I am youngest of four and they hardly talk to her and make me do all the mom stuff. We got in it today and told her to stop calling me so much. I call her everyday to check on her. I live an almost an hour from her my sisiter lives two doors down from her and my brother is close too. Im tired of always taking care of her have done it all my life. Came from really dysfunctional alcohiolic family and told her after all these years hpw I really feel. I am 65 and the new moon hit my 27 cancer asc. I had a complete meltdown. What a deal! I can sure see how Saturn in Libra squaring your ASC would set off family issues for you. Do you attend ALA-NON or have you done so? After a series of relationships with alcoholics in my late 20′s, early 30′s I finally got counseling in that area, learned about co-dependence, etc and was able to begin making better choices. My Moon-Neptune conjunction was a magnet for needy types until I stopped being such an enabler. *sigh*

Hi Diane Yes I have done alot of work on myself and have been trying to get my 90 year old mother to realize her dependency issues. It is hopeless so I have to let go and stop trying to fix her or anyone else. I have never married or had children cause I knew I was to messed up to do either…especially bring more poor dysfunctional children into the world. My sister and one brother have kids some are normal (whatever that is) and some are just slackers. My oldest brother kids are all doing great. All have major degrees…thier masters and some Phd. I was the black sheep.The youngest and the one my mother hung on to and was way too indulgent of me wich only slowed my progress with life. I wish sometimes I had kids but knew I would have just repeated the cycle of dysfunction. Thank god for astrology and psychology it has kept me sain (most of the time) but this last week has really been a test for all of us.Thanks again for you help and your site.

I was blind sided completely yesterday …. I sincerely hope the New Moon doesn’t set the pattern coming year (my being a Cancer). It was the worst day I can think of for a long time – and that’s saying some.

Hi Diane I too am a Libra Sun conjunct Neptune square my Cap Moon and 27degree cancer rising.Whew!Thank god for you site I was born in 46 I think we are being hit with a lot of the same crap.Yes this new moon just about did me in too.Thank god for astrology it keeps me (most of the time) out of a rubber room!!! Want to wish all my fellow Libra’s best of luck.Its been insane.
PS also have Mer retro in the first conjucnt my Pluto and Saturn!!! Did somebody say straight jacket?

“Whew” is right!! Talk about mixed messages . . . New Moon on the ASC is usually a good thing but far less so with Saturn squaring it.
If you have your Mars in Scorpio conj Jupiter in Scorp you do have some serious backup. That’s a powerful combo! Even squared by Saturn . . .

This moon capped off with me bedridden the past week — worst cold I’ve had in ages! But I’m looking at it as a blessing, as the pressure was mounting at work and I think perhaps the time away from there saved me from some nasty verbal energy. It also showed me I need to try and move things forward to make some serious changes in my life (aka moving, new job, etc). The moon trined my Scorp stellium in the tenth. There’s a feeling of waiting in the wings to go on stage (waiting for the merc retro to pass, though!).
I’m really feeling alone but also accepting of the fact that no one will take care of me but me. Time to stand up for myself and remove myself from situations that no longer work (Capricorn here—the square sets off my Sun-12th/Uranus-9th/Chiron-3rd T-square).

That was a nasty cold if you ended up flattened for a week. {{{sleepless}}} One thing Mercury Rx is good for is planning our next moves & getting all the pieces in place before launch. Will Mercury in Leo be squaring your Scorp stellium? If so, then doubly good reason to wait and plan.

One thing the Uranus-Pluto square is good for is empowerment if that’s what you need . . . and it sounds like you do. Both planets are very helpful for excising bad situations.

It is good to see your garden is full of blooming lilies and you are busy harvesting. I am appalled to say my garden has completely failed this year, this has never happened to me before. It was a record early spring, I planted my usual bell peppers in pots on my deck in the first week of April, nearly a month ahead of schedule. They should be over 4 feet tall and I should have been harvesting huge peppers for a month now. But my plants are still only 6 to 8 inches tall. They’re like little bonsai pepper plants. I see teeny tiny little blooms, but nothing grows from the buds. It’s probably the heat. Yesterday on the New Moon, the temperature got up to 108.5F, 42.5C. I have never encountered temperatures this high, not even in the desert or the tropics. No wonder my garden doesn’t want to grow. The poor plants probably want to shrink back into the cool earth and retreat into their seeds.

That’s not good. We were colder & damper than usual here in PNW and had erratic germination. The last couple of weeks of hot weather has done wonders for sad looking peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers. 108.5F, 42.5C is dreadfully hot . . . hope your air conditioning is in good working order. Mother Nature does what she does and us puny humans have no say in the matter!

I have asked for Family leave from work to care for my aging mother who recently had a procedure to insert a pacemaker. I had headaches and generally felt awful until I took steps to implement my decision. I could not ignore Pluto’s insistent message that I need to transform. I think there is more to come.

Sorry you got whomped. Amazingly, I hardly noticed it. Maybe it will be a delayed reaction. On the other hand, a home renovation project is dragging on… and on… and on… hasn’t even started yet. I attribute it to Mars rx for 9 months, then there seemed to be some forward movement, and then it’s stalled again. I expect it’s the swath of rx’s behind it all. Maybe it’s just not the right time for my project, but Jupiter in my 1st house, I thought would be propitious for an expansion of the literal home.

Heh, or it could be Saturn squaring your Moon! The New Moon opp your Moon & Saturn made it a T-Square. It will help when Mercury is direct once more AND when Saturn is no longer squaring your Moon. Of course, you still have a Mars Return w/Saturn coming up August 19-20 . . . *grin*

yep, this 0 cancer sun had this square my libra asc, whilste the pluto uranus square is doing my 8′cancer mer a doozy while being rx natally is i feel doing better while the messenger is in rx, however within my mind has been playing out like a dark comedy the past couple of weeks, lighting up my asc means I keep laughing, which i credit jup in gemini for the opportunity to do, at the thoughts out loud and appearing insane hahaha!

Cancer folk, especially those like yourself with planets in Cancer from 0 to 10 degrees have been catching a lot of flack ever since Uranus entered Aries. Just keep laughing at the absurdity of it all as you do your best to survive this.
Do something nice for yourself on a regular basis too. Uranus transits are almost always exhausting for those who prefer a quiet life.

I got Mars(16 degrees),saturn(9 degrees) in 1st house , Pluto in Libra which is my ascendent is at squeaking 29 degrees. born in 1984 with a cancer sun in 9th house. My venus is in leo.
I just was not able to be in relationships,I mean any relationship for that matter.
No clue to why this is having pluto and saturn closely is a constant battle.
I like people(saturn) but do not want to be close to people this is pluto i guess.
The most valuable lesson i learn’t is protect “yourself” during the saturn in early Libra transit there after it was all dark and broody just recovering.
Any one born as a late cancer in 1984 pushed or pulled mentally during this new moon ???

This means your Solar Return is practically the same chart as the New Moon. This makes your location for your Solar Return important as it defines the chart wheel & Rising sign.
Both my Gemini stepdaughters have Pluto in Libra in their first house. One has it conj her ASC and she has gone thru some major events dealing w/close friends dying. She also worked as a radiologist in a cancer clinic for a couple of years where many of her patients were in the process of dying from cancer . . . hard, hard thing to deal with. It is amazing both of them are married w/one child each. However, both of them are also the dominate partner in their marriages. I get this because I have Scorpio Rising w/Mars-Mercury in Scorpio conj my ASC and didn’t marry until I was over 40 and had figured out some basic Pluto issues regarding acceptance & detachment.
