Excitement awaits us on this Full Moon at 10° 15′ Aquarius on 1 August 2012 08:27 PM PDT with Uranus in Aries and Jupiter in Gemini completing a Cradle Pattern with the lunar axis. There will be plenty of lively discussions and debates, though the tone may veer towards the confrontational at times.
The sextile between the Aquarius Full Moon and Uranus, Aquarius’ ruler, promotes far reaching ideas about how to fix what’s wrong in the collective. Whether these ideas will gain any traction is another matter because both Uranus and Mercury in Leo are currently retrograde. Plus Mercury in Leo is inconjunct the planet of dreams and illusions, Neptune in Pisces . . . maybe these will turn out to be only pipe dreams. For those unfamiliar with that expression, it refers to the dreams produced when smoking opium. The wisest course might be to make note of this ideas and review them after Mercury stations direct on 7 August.
Now the expansive Leo Sun sextile Jupiter in Gemini is simply delightful for getting together with friends and family for fun and relaxation. Everyone will find something to talk about and conversations will be spiced with lots of humor. Storytellers will be in fine form, keeping their audiences entertained for hours. Keep the tone light and all will have a wonderful time.
The two trines in this Cradle are the Moon trine Jupiter in air with the Sun trine Uranus in fire . . . perfect recipe for hot air. Good time to head to your favorite fact checker to see how much truth there is to what you hear or read. The internet can be both an excellent source of information and an amazing means to spread disinformation in a matter of seconds but that’s the world we now live in. **shakes head**
Venus ruled Libra benefits the most from a trine between Saturn in Libra and Venus in Gemini. I happen to love this one because we all use the help staying in touch with what’s real and grounded. Saturn gently keeps Venus from promising more than she can deliver and for lovers who are considering deepening their commitment, this aspect is a huge blessing.
An interesting aspect is Mars in Libra trine Ceres in Gemini. Ceres often describes nurturance and in Gemini the best way is through communication with others. Libra loves to bounce ideas off someone else too. Get together for lunch, write someone a letter or give them a call and take time for some serious communicating. Won’t hurt to sharpen up those listening skills either! Forget texting or emailing . . . too impersonal. The best quality communication takes places in person, face to face, because then we pick up on all those non-verbal cues. OK?!
If there is a deal breaker on this lunation, it is Pluto in Capricorn. It is inconjunct the Leo Sun, semi-sextile the Aquarius Moon and STILL square Uranus in Aries! Playing fast and loose with the rules is a good way to run up against the authorities, whether it’s the parental unit or the police. Loud, obnoxious behaviors at a party or during a public protest of some kind will not go over well at all. Please be considerate and respectful of others.
There is no better time to contemplate our place within the collective than a Full Moon in Aquarius. What can we contribute as individuals that will benefit our communities? Even something as simple as remembering to treat others with kindness and respect in our everyday interactions will have far more impact than we may realize.
On a personal note: Mars in Libra conjoins my Moon on this one . . . often a very irritating transit . . . whilst the Leo Sun conjoins the midpoint between my natal Saturn-Pluto conjunction in the ninth house. This is a good time for me to take in what’s happening in the world around me and waxing philosophical. LOL With Venus in Gemini waxing trine my Libra Sun to help sweeten my disposition and offset Mars, I will probably do just fine.

Your SR is the day before with the Moon in ambitious Capricorn sq Saturn. With so much fire & air in the FM chart, having a little more earth is a good thing & the Saturn square ought to help you maintain focus. Sometimes a little ballast is a good thing, no?

This shall be an interesting period for myself as this triggers my Natal Uranus/4th house Leo opposing the Moon/10th house. And, it is exact- time to hide under the covers until this passes.
I am sooo looking forward to it, a whole new life to build, already offered job as moon conj 26 libra asc, now just need a place of my own after almost a year of NFA for my self and 2 offspring, plus whatever else to build a new good one and this cancerian is soo happy this full moon is exact conj my 4th house 10 aqua 37 POF. BRING IT ON!!!!!!! hahahaha
I’m looking forward to this one too! Although it will involve my Natal Mercury/Uranus at 8/10 Leo. Geez, the last couple weeks, with Transit Jupiter AND Uranus activating my Mercury (I think it’s gone on longer, with Retrogrades) I’ve been a basket case. Very nervous and flighty. I was thinking that this must be how other people get annoyed at my fast speech/jumping around thought patterns, because at first, I was barely able to stand being around me with the additional amped energy! Very noticeable, and trying to utilize it productively.
Looking forward too! Full moon right on my Progressive Sun (don’t know if that adds to anything) in the 1st house, I hope the trine to Jupiter in Gemini (Jupiter rules my 10th house) and the sextile to my natal Mars-Neptune conjunction in the 10th house will lead to… a job. I need a job! A NICE job
Not looking forward to this at all. Full moon taking place in my 7th house (I’m an Aries/Leo/Leo) and same degree as my descendant (10deg 42min) Sigh recent transits have been transformative to say the least but wow it has been a rough go. Something truly positive would be nice (rather than something I have to shift my perspective to see as positive).
