Tomorrow Mercury in Libra barges into the middle of Uranus in Aries’ ongoing argument with Pluto in Capricorn and things got get very hot, very fast! One way to look at this is air (Libra) fuels fire (Uranus) causing a serious escalation in rhetoric. What can we do to dampen the fire? Draw on water and earth energy for one thing.
Water is not part of this particular T-Square and therefore can be used effectively to douse the fire. This can be done by agreeing with the person confronting you rather than launching an attack of your own . . . a common method taught to those who work with the public and have to deal with irate patrons, etc. Usually the angry person is braced for combat and when they don’t get it, it throws them off their game as it were. Water is extremely powerful but prefers to afford direct, head on confrontations. It prefers to slip sideways, use distractions and allow the anger to dissipate, opening the door to actual dialogue.
Now earth likes to smother fire with solid practicality. Have you ever watched a Taurus handle an irate person? They prefer to present a calm, interested face and offer little to no feedback or “fuel”. It can be tough to keep yelling at someone who sits there with no reaction at all . . . not to mention frustrating. Generally calm, non-engagement will allow the angry person to calm down too. Once they have reached a point where they are able to listen, then Taurus offers simple, matter of fact answers.
It does help if you have water or earth signs represented by your personal planets or Rising making this energy accessible to you. I usually go with the water approach with my Scorpio Ascendant and Mercury because the only earth in my chart is my Midheaven. Besides, with Pluto in earthy Capricorn the earth approach may work less well than usual because Pluto is intent on controlling the message at all costs.
Of course, all you fire folk may feel free to ignore this advice and charge right into the fray! Somebody has to tilt at those windmills, right?

Being a double earth, Ascendant in Taurus, Pluto, Sun, Mercury, and Mars in Virgo. Smothering someone in practicality sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Of course if all else fails I do the other Earth thing I walk away. It is difficult to make a scene without an audience.

LOL! So true. Silence is a favorite my Scorp Rising too. Living w/an Aries I do know the value of not feeding the fire. On rare occasions I don’t & that is always a mistake.

It’s all geeee, as they say! The worst part of it for me, was trying to get to sleep after a day of dentists, walking, hunting and gathering, and a graduation! Not a great time for speeches, let my numb butt tell you. But overall, it left a nice afterglow
I did notice this morning that our daughter unfriended someone who caught her eye across the crowded room last night, so it was obviously not the grandest time for new love

Nooo, not the best for new love! Though I’m so glad today’s grouchy sky ends with Venus sextile Jupiter.
Dentists are not on my list of fun people to visit either. LOL
