Libra Weekly Horoscopes for October 22, 2012

All you water signs will love this week! It will feel like slipping into a deep, cool pool of water after a hot day. The Sun enters Scorpio on Monday and promptly makes a harmonious trine to Neptune in elusive Pisces. Then early Thursday, Saturn in Scorpio will conjoin the Sun, deepening the harmonics with Neptune. I have decided this aspect can be described as practical spirituality . . . very Zen like. Words may be optional during this period.

Before you fire and air types get too freaked by all this foggy stuff, Mercury and Venus both change signs next Sunday. Venus will leave quiet Virgo for its home sign of Libra and Mercury breaks out into fiery Sagittarius. And, yes, those two planets will be continuing to dance together in a friendly sextile. This time there will be a whole lot more flirting and chatting up going on as both Libra and Sagittarius love making the party scene. Though it would be an excellent idea to remember what planet both Venus and Mercury will aspect first as they change signs . . . Neptune in Pisces. Neither aspect is harmonious either. Venus will be inconjunct Neptune and Mercury square. What this says to me is what looks desirable initially may not turn out that way later or those pretty words will be nothing but hot air. Be careful!

If you are planning a social gathering, Sunday is the day for it. Adding to the lighthearted atmosphere of the Venus-Mercury sextile is an opposition between Mars in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Gemini. That duo will be up for closing the bars and still having enough oomph to take everyone out for an early breakfast.

The only discordant note the whole week is Sun in Scorpio inconjunct Uranus in Aries on the weekend, just a few hours before Venus enters Libra. Aries often has a marked lack of patience with Scorpio’s secretive nature and this is amplified by Uranus. Take care to be as straightforward as possible when dealing with fire signs this weekend. The Moon will be in Aries all weekend too increasing a sense of urgency!

What happens this week depends upon your priorities and to some extent on how watery your natal chart is. Outlines and boundaries may be less clearly defined and we may need to draw more on our intuition to navigate. If your chart is heavy to fire and air, don’t fret because this too shall soon pass! Water and earth signs, enjoy every moment!

Your priorities may shift this week, Aries, from the focus on partnership issues to taking a look at financial matters like paying down outstanding debts or talking to your banker. Do set aside time on the weekend to enjoy life for a change.

Taurus, you might want to make time for a sit down with your partner, whether personal or business. This is a great time for sensible, serious discussions that can lay the groundwork for some time to come. Thankfully it will be easy to find the right words.

Now is a very good time, Gemini, for you to evaluate your lifestyle and determine what needs to be done to make it healthier. Institute good eating habits, a regular exercise routine and get plenty of rest. Running on your nerves isn’t going to cut it anymore.

Along with the other water sign folk (Scorpio and Pisces), you will probably really enjoy this week, Cancer, with its soothing atmosphere. Whether married or single, opportunities for love and romance may emerge and if you can, please make the most of those.

Some serious family issues might surface this week for you, Leo, and chances are these will take time to work through. Compassion is the key to avoiding hard feelings. Take a break this weekend to go out with friends and have some fun.

This is a perfect time, Virgo, for you to tackle projects demanding mental tenacity and diligence. Your ability to concentrate should be excellent. Being tactful and diplomatic comes easily for you right now, making you someone to be reckoned with! Enjoy!

You are entering a period, Libra, where you may find yourself thinking about your attitude towards money and the way you earn it. The term “right livelihood” comes to mind and if this is important to you, then figure out what sacrifices are needed to achieve this.

Scorpio, this is a good time to explore your place in the bigger scheme of things . . . like why you are here and how can you make a contribution to the greater good. Many of you have a naturally mystical bent. Tune into that.

Given your propensity for staying in motion, Sagittarius, there are times you need to slow down and retreat from the whirlwind of daily life. Now is one of those times. Time alone in a natural setting is a good choice for you.

You can be a very effective advocate if you choose, Capricorn, and one way to make a difference is through group activities focusing on social activism of some kind. No matter whom you align with, uplift others with kind words and practical deeds.

At this time presenting a serious, thoughtful face to the world will come easier than usual for you, Aquarius. This may come in especially handy if you are doing job interviews or seeking to move up the ladder in your career. Celebrate your success next weekend.

Other than having some career demands you can likely handle with ease, Pisces, you may find the overall atmosphere calming to your senses. It is also a good time to embrace your spiritual side and seek out sources of inspiration to carry you forward.

If you know your Rising sign, read the horoscope for it too. :D

I am personally enjoying next week in my mind, when the Sun and Saturn have lost contact, and the fairy dust is falling freely. Just a bit over-Saturned at the moment :)

LOL, Pixie! Yes, the Sun moves right along thank god! :D

I’m dealing w/an important realization . . . for years my main identity was Artist/Craftsperson w/astrology as a sideline. I invested over 30-35 yrs into my weaving, spinning, knitting, etc. Woke up yesterday knowing that had all changed. I will still spin & knit but only as relaxing hobby. Now am grappling with what to do with the accumulated yarns, equipment, etc. Sell some? Give it away? So far none of the younger family members have shown any interest in this sort of thing. I blame Saturn for stirring this up . . . :P

      xoxoxo diane~

Sell, sell, sell! Ebay was invented for that purpose alone :) I was just thinking yesterday about you taking over the astrological world for some reason ;)
