After last week’s surge of aspects, this week looks pretty calm. The New Moon in Pisces on Monday, followed by Mars entering Aries on Tuesday is about it. This is good because Mercury in Pisces will be slowing to station direct on Sunday, March 17 and we don’t need any more distractions.
I noticed something interesting about the Pisces New Moon . . . all the aspects with the exception of the New Moon itself are separating, not forming. This places more emphasis on endings rather than beginnings. At the time of the lunation, Mars is at 29° Pisces, the last degree in the last sign. Delay starting new projects and activities to get serious about tidying up old business.
Mercury does not like traveling at a crawl and the closer we get to the weekend, the unhappier it will be. Even though day dreaming would be ever so much easier than staying tightly focused, please attempt to anyway. Most of us who live in the USA have the additional burden of adjusting to Daylight Savings Time this week. I don’t know about anyone else but it usually take me a good week to get used my new sleep schedule. We twelfth house people are very dependent on getting quality sleep to keep our ducks in a row.
Bright spot this week for all you fire sign folk is a happy Mars in Aries. Mars loves being in his home sign and will take his job of adding more fire to the sky very seriously. This week he’ll bring some much needed balance to all the placements in Pisces. All too soon for the water signs, the balance will tip from water to fire and this begins in earnest on the equinox when Mars conjoins Uranus at 8° Aries. By the way . . . those who have personal planets or Angles from 7° to 9° Aries, brace yourselves for incoming around the equinox.
Slow but steady is the way to go this week. Carefully check all the details before signing off on anything and do your best to be patient with those in a hurry. The more loose ends we can take care now the better.

You’ve probably had it up to here with the underwater slow motion show of recent weeks, Aries, and are past ready for a clear path of action. The gradual increase in activity levels this week will prepare you for the big jump on the way.
It is possible you might not notice an uptick in rumbling behind the scenes, Taurus, because you are still deeply involved in the work you are doing with your colleagues. Take extra care in your communications with those folks as the week progresses.
If you want to stay in your employer’s good graces now, Gemini, please do your best to stay clear and focused. Allowing your attention to wander, especially late in the week, would be asking for trouble. Opportunities to socialize with your peers are appearing.
A clear sense of purpose may emerge for you this week regarding your next career move, Cancer. Nurture these ideas carefully while you can as the distractions will increase dramatically soon. If you have travel plans for the weekend, allow plenty of time to reach your destination.
You may start feeling the urge to do a little traveling soon, Leo, to expand your horizons and maybe find some sun to bask in. For now though you really, truly need to carefully review all of your joint finances with your accountant or lawyer. Careful oversight is critical.
Take time this week for your significant other, Virgo, because all too soon other priorities will emerge demanding your full attention. As the week goes on you may have to work harder to keep your focus and stay on task. If you can take a break, do so.
I know you probably feel overwhelmed by the demands of your daily routines and all, Libra, so do your best to get those under control. Why? Because your one-on-one relationships begin to show signs of needing more attention this week. Brace yourself!t.
Whether it is feeding your inner child or enjoying a sweet romance, Scorpio, make the most of it. Starting this week you may notice your focus will begin to shift back to setting priorities to maximize your daily schedule. Not much but necessary.
Give your all to handling domestic issues or finishing up projects around the home this week, Sagittarius. If you don’t those may come back to haunt you later. You may notice improving energy which increases the urge to get out and play.
Make getting all correspondence taken care the first of the week a priority, Capricorn, because as the week goes your ability to concentrate may leak away. You might find yourself motivated to work around the house too or get together with family.
Your natural inclination to speak up and say your piece will noticeably emerge this week, Aquarius. This is good timing because you may have to have a serious discussion about money matters, perhaps late payments of some kind? Remember to be tactful.
Pisces, the dream begins to dissipate and reality starts to intrude this week. Little things like making sure your bills are paid, you know? Best get on top of these things now. If you are getting together with family this weekend, please call ahead.
If you know your Rising sign, read the horoscope for it too.

Well this Leo rising is going to Mexico with a bunch of girlfriends in early April, so I’ll take that traveling and finding some sun to heart! No joint finances, so maybe the New Moon in the 8th has something else in store…
Perfect timing! The Sun, Venus & Mars in Aries will be in your 9th House then.
No joint finances, so maybe the New Moon in the 8th has something else in store…
A visit to your gynecologist maybe?
8th house deals with all those delightful Scorpio themes like birth, death & transformation which is why I tend to focus on joint finances, etc. LOL

Heh. Well, if anything occurs that’s printable and not TMI I’ll let you know.

Nice! You were spot on for me last week, so thank you. Good notice on the separating aspects. It certainly feels like a time of endings and closures. I am enjoying most it
But then, Moon trine Pluto thrives on this emotional naval gazing, so I am lucky
Thanks always for the mention xo
Hi Pixie!
Good notice on the separating aspects. It certainly feels like a time of endings and closures.
Heh, good thing Alanna Morgan pointed out it was separating not “waning” aspects. My poor foggy brain failed to produce the correct term. LOL Very odd New Moon.
