Venus in Aries
Another big kiss for all you fire signs is Venus entering Aries! Then there will be four planets in the early degrees of Aries to keep life interesting.
I realize Venus is exalted in Pisces and hot dry Aries is not the best fit for her but sometimes change is good. Fire and air sign folk have been struggling to keep their spirits up over the past month and in the spirit of fairness, they deserve a break.
Venus in Aries is very independent, competitive and somewhat unrefined . . . well, downright crude on occasion. She is nowhere near as concerned with her appearance as Venus in Leo or as wary of commitment as Venus in Sagittarius. What you see is what you get is her motto.
Men with Venus in Aries usually love strong minded women who have lives of their own. They often encourage the women in their lives to be more proactive and independent. If you are a woman with an Aries Venus you probably are one of those women . . .
Those of us who have Venus in the fire signs will all get a lift from this Venus, even more so if you have your Sun in Taurus or Libra (Venus ruled signs). Socializing will sound like fun again and creative projects that have been languishing regain their appeal. Do something different like trying out a new place to eat or visit somewhere you’ve never been. Be adventurous!
Venus will conjoin the Sun and Uranus in Aries on 28 March and will finally catch up to Mars in Aries on 6 April. Between now and the Full Moon in Libra, the waxing conjunction to Uranus is bound to bring out the contrary side of Venus. Please treat the women in your life with consideration and respect or risk their wrath. Women in general are feeling feisty now.
Best Venus transits for looking good
Thought I’d give an update on the best time for improving one’s appearance. After checking Venus transits over the past few years when I’ve had my hair cut, I believe the best results where when Venus was conjunct, sextile and trine my Ascendant. The best time for having my picture taken was on my Venus Return, in part because Venus is in my first house. Of lesser importance were Venus conjunct, sextile or trine my Sun though those were far better than no aspects at all.
Bottom line if you need to look good and have some flexibility, go with Venus conjunct your Ascendant first, followed by the trine and the sextile. The Ascendant is our “face” we present to the world after all. I would add if you have the Sun or Venus in your first house, harmonious Venus transits to those two are excellent. *grin*
