Aries

Aries, God of War

© Gal Or

“Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!” We have a very, very active sky this week with the Sun, Venus, Mars and Uranus in Aries leading the pack. This is one of the most action packed weeks this year so sit down, shut up and hang on.

Wednesday is the Full Moon in Libra and the heart of the matter. Sometimes the Full Moon brings resolution but not this one. What may be illuminated are the areas of dissonance in our lives for which there are no quick or easy solutions. As I mentioned before “agreeing to disagree” might be the way to go.

Mars in Aries will be the first planet to square Pluto in Capricorn early in week followed by both the Sun and Venus squaring Pluto next Sunday. There will be those obsessed with tightly controlling every aspect of their lives and others whilst battling with those whose hunger for freedom is all. We’ll likely find out what matters most to us as individuals – control or freedom – one way or another.

The desire to express our uniqueness right, wrong or otherwise could be overwhelming now with the Sun and Venus both conjoining Uranus in Aries on Thursday. Late last week Mars conjoined Uranus setting this trend in motion. Aiding and abetting these needs is Jupiter in Gemini via sextiles to Mars at the first of the week and Venus at the end. It is a wonderful time to generate brilliant theories and ideas though attempting to put those into practice may be iffy right now, too much static in the atmosphere.

Behind all the noise and drama of the Aries action, something more subtle is happening. Mercury in Pisces will quietly and harmoniously aspect both Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn this week. For those of you who have personal planets from 10° to 12° in earth and water signs, this is a very good thing. I realize it will be tough to make yourself heard over the huge fire sign party but do your best. You have something very important to say.

On the weekend both the Sun and Venus will be inconjunct Saturn in Scorpio . . . looks an awful lot like mom and dad coming down on their teenage children to me. As a matter of fact that is another good analogy for the Saturn-Pluto sextile fighting it out with the Aries planets and Jupiter in Gemini where somebody has the unpleasant task of being the parent. As to who is in the right? Hey! Don’t look at me! I’m just minding my own business as hard as I can!

For what it’s worth, this is not a good time to make impulsive decisions whether it is about love or investments. Acting on assumptions or making reckless choices is very risky right now. Err on the side of caution please.

To get another perspective for the week, check out Karen’s Weekly Tarot for this week on Isis Moon Tarot.

Aries, I would be shocked to learn you aren’t right in the middle of the action this week. You live for situations that get your heart pumping and adrenaline flowing. Being able to rush in and save the day? The best yet!

Given how little you enjoy last minute changes or disruptive events, Taurus, you probably aren’t going to be a happy camper this week. The toughest part might have to do with not being able to get a good night’s sleep due to interruptions.

Social being that you are, Gemini, even you may be overwhelmed by all the places you need to be this week. You will manage but it could get interesting at times. Looks to be a very lively weekend for you too. Sleep later?

Take a deep breath and promise yourself a good long break once the furor dies down, Cancer. It is a good time to remember as a cardinal sign you do like a good challenge now and then . . . just not so many all at one time maybe?

Are you having fun yet, Leo? You are getting a major energy boost and a little drama is right down your alley. Your weekend could be very exciting, especially if you decide to discuss religion and politics with your date! Have fun!

Despite this week’s intensity you more than many others, Virgo, have a pretty good handle on yourself. Your ability to come up with thoughtful solutions to problems will benefit not only you but others in your orbit. Can I hang out with you please? :D

Even if you can manage to keep your cool, Libra, you may still be stunned by what your partner gets up to this week. You may not be able to decide whether to fall in love with them all over again or give ‘em the boot.

Thank goodness you’re managing to stay relatively grounded now, Scorpio, because that’s the only way you’ll be able to handle all the interruptions to your daily routine. This still may affect your health so do what you can to alleviate stress by getting enough rest.

I know you live to feed your inner child now, Sagittarius, and spend time playing with your partner. However spending money you don’t have is a very, very bad idea with serious consequences. Be smart and set up limits before you play.

Dealing with the chaos swirling around your home and family now can’t be easy, Capricorn. All the more reason to be thankful your ability to think clearly and make rational choices is operating quite well. Please don’t take hurtful remarks too seriously.

Your mind is lit up like the Fourth of July, Aquarius, with fireworks of great ideas shooting off everywhere. Be aware others may find your obsessions a little over the top. Gatherings on the weekend may get a bit too exciting. Be careful.

Brainstorming about money and ways to increase your income might be productive now, Pisces. Despite your reputation for being a bit drifty at times, you are currently in a good place to be sensible about all this. Your peers may have practical input.

If you know your Rising sign, read the horoscope for it too. :D

Did anyone say anything about treading on eggshells? I’m dreading Easter. What a mess everything is since Mars entered Aries and now the whole family are in! Me and my Scorp are in for the long haul but it’s thin ice at the moment all the way. Mars conjunct Uranus threw up all kinds of firecrackers – from outside sources as well as jinxing up the psychological weakness corner. What outsiders didn’t do to us we did to ourselves. I do miss our Pisces bliss ***. And now this week! Same thing all over again. I hate Aries and his big mouth, his big feet and his big head too. OK, I know I have an Aries moon conjunct Saturn and an Aries north node but that has nothing to do with it, right? Thanks for all your wonderful posts, Happy Easter Diane, hope yours is fireworks free!

      Hi Judy M!

I hate Aries and his big mouth, his big feet and his big head too. OK, I know I have an Aries moon conjunct Saturn and an Aries north node but that has nothing to do with it, right?

LOL! That would be a “yes”. Moon conj Saturn in Aries has to be a tough one to live with because Aries NEEDS to test the limits & Saturn worries about consequences . . . constantly. We are often uncomfortable with the qualities of our North Node sign though this can improve over time.

Next week is considerably less active & Venus conjoins Mars in Aries on 6 April. That may help though Venus entering Taurus on 15 April is more promising. Venus is very content in sensual Taurus and much less given to flirting. :D

Easter Sunday’s aspects are a volatile mix: Venus sq Pluto, Venus sextile Jupiter & Sun sq Pluto against the backdrop of a blunt Sagittarius Moon. All sorts of home truths may get tossed out there with painful results. Tricky!

Thanks Diane, this makes me feel a little bit better about this week coming up. I didnt know whether or not to stay in my corner or fight the battles that should probably lay to rest. Interestingly enough I have had lots of suiters coming to call….not sure what thats about but my social calendar is heating up. Funny thing is I’d rather stay home.LOL
Hopefully I will float through this week without any unnecessary jolts. All is well so far…crossing my fingers :)

      Hey Paige!

Yeah, works that way sometimes! All those Aries planets are in your 7th house & probably why you have guys showing up at your door. Heh, the second week in April when the Aries stellium opposes your natal Mars/Uranus could see some of those right out the door again. LOL

      Hey, enjoy the attention!! :D

On the positive side, I have a trine to natal Saturn in Sagittarius/ 7th house and Uranus in Leo/4th house. On the negative side, Saturn squares my Sun in the 5th, and Uranus opposes my Moon in the 10th. And, all of that Aries noise is passing over my 12th house deliniation which is at 8 degrees of Aries. The next month will most likely see a bit of foot in mouth problems. Embarrassing as it may be the trines suggest that it won’t be taken too seriously by anyone but myself.

      Hi William!
And, all of that Aries noise is passing over my 12th house deliniation which is at 8 degrees of Aries.

Soon to disappear into the 12th. Another plus is the Libra Moon conjoins your natal Jupiter . . . maybe you will be able to see the humor in all this after all. *grin*

  • We’re finally painting the back of the house, after months of it being too hot and humid. Totally not looking forward to it. Totally know I am going to be a complete cow as I have to move my entire office out of the way, but I will be happy when it is done. Apart from the tensions, it’s great energy for something physical like this, except, the lacking patience. You just know, we are going to go so far outside of the lines, we would never win a colouring-in competition! Or whatever other countries call those types of competitions :)

      Hey Pixie! :D

I know . . . all the mess & bother is a grind but it will totally be worth the results! A fresh coat of paint does wonders . . . *looking around her house*. :) Good use of the Aries too.

Virgo Sun lady here, I had a chuckle about asking to hang out with the Virgo Suns this week! I say yes! I thrive in chaotic times like this. I tend to find my “zen” when the world around me is exploding as it looks certain to do this week! Perhaps it is the mutable nature of Virgo, because I feel like flowing with the tides of change now.

Exactly! Virgo is well aligned with those great Mercury in Pisces aspects and the Saturn-Pluto sextile. Only jarring note is Friday’s Mercury-Jupiter square. We NEED our sane, lovely Virgo folk this week. :D
