Observations: Loving Saturn in Libra

With all the hype and excitement surrounding Jupiter’s entrance into Aries, Saturn stationing retrograde today in Libra has been overlooked and I may know why . . . Saturn is just not into making waves in equitable Libra.

Libra is the balance wheel of the zodiac and those of us with plenty of Libra often quietly step in to keep those around us on an even keel. Saturn in Libra seems to be doing much the same – in my life anyway – due to my progressed Sun being in Saturn ruled Capricorn. All I know is I’m having a much easier time taking care of business and doing all those little tasks necessary to keep things running smoothly.

For example, last weekend when Jupiter blew into Aries, my website shut down due to exceeding my bandwidth allotment. My webbie, Dixie of Good Karma Webhosts, responded to my cry for help by adding a little extra allotment, then coming up with an idea to reduce my bandwidth usage by using a new free service called CloudFlare. She also assured me exceeding my bandwidth was a very good indicator Libra Seeking Balance is doing well. Yay! Thanks to Dixie’s calm, efficient Virgo self I was up and running in no time with a plan going forward – Saturn in Libra REALLY loves a good working partnership.

I do have my second pass of Saturn conjoining my Libra Moon in mid-March but if the first pass was any indication of what to expect, it will far more beneficial than difficult. Since Saturn has stationed within two degrees of my Moon, he’s got my back right now. Now I need to get back to work because requests for my services have picked up and I love that too.

So next time you see Saturn being made out as the bad guy, remember there is one astrologer out here singing his praises . . . at least as long as he is in Libra. :D

Observations: Saturn in Libra & Fairness

Decisions rendered under the aegis of Saturn in Libra will be scrupulously fair, favoring neither side and likely frustrating both – like the Egyptian goddess, Maat, who weighed the souls of the dead using her feather as the counterbalance and was impervious to anything but her own rigorous standards.

So forget coming up with clever excuses and do what needs doing in a timely, straight forward manner. Whining, passionate pleas and groveling are also out. Honesty continues to be in fashion, especially with ourselves.

There is a very good chance legal matters will be settled in much the same way and if you have such pending be very, very careful to present yourself and your case in clear, rational terms with no grandstanding. I’m also willing to say the election results both this year and next, will tend to favor neither side and unless those in public office can reacquaint themselves with the art of compromise, gridlock will continue.

Never ever forget Pluto is just getting down to business in Capricorn either and he is backing Saturn in Libra all the way. Heh, heh, heh!

. . . and that is what I woke up thinking about this morning! :D

Saturn in Libra Tips: Balance “Work” & Play

After spending the last couple of years hopefully learning important Saturn in Virgo lessons like proper diet and exercise, maintaining a decent daily schedule and always remembering to back up your computer; we are now firmly in Saturn in Libra territory where the lessons are all about doing what it takes to have good, equitable one-on-one relationships.

While Saturn in Libra is pretty serious when it comes to relationships, it is equally important to keep in mind Libra also encourages us to find the moderate, middle ground . . . too much time “working” on our relationships is not the best either.

Knowing Saturn’s penchant for keeping the old nose to the grindstone, we may have to deliberately set aside time with our significant other for relaxation with clear agreements to steer clear of sensitive subjects. Right now with both Venus and Mars in Libra this may be fairly easy but once both of those planets move into Scorpio (who loves to stir the emotional pot) it will take more effort to maintain a balance. If your sweetie stops answering your calls and ignoring your texts, maybe it’s time to back off the heavy discussions for awhile.

As a general rule of thumb, those whose personal planets are in fire and air naturally stay on the lighter side of things; earth signs can take it or leave it and those with water LOVE swimming in the deep end emotionally.

Look to your Moon, its sign and aspects, for further insight into your personal style for handling your feelings as well as all those unconscious daily habit patterns. It can be very helpful to know about your SO’s Moon as well to avoid inadvertently stepping on toes. For example, someone with a Gemini Moon will seek to keep all discussions about feelings on an intellectual level making a Scorpio Moon person feel deprived whereas a Pisces or Cancer Moon will happily join Scorp Moon in the deep end.

Compromise (another Libra favorite) is the best route to finding a satisfactory balance for most partners. Most of us know we have to devote time to learning more about our own relationship issues and discussing those with our SO. However we may not realize the importance of choosing to take time to have fun and recall why it was we got together in the first place. Think about it . . . :D
