Happy Capricorn Season!

If you haven’t already noticed, Sagittarius season is over for this year and we’re moving into full on Capricorn with bells on. We have two eclipses in Cancer-Capricorn coming up, a Mercury retrograde in Capricorn and Venus moving into Capricorn first thing Christmas morning. Yes, it is time to focus on why papa knows best and all the rest of the delights of family.

New Moon in Taurus – Comfort Rules

The New Moon on May 5 is at 15 degrees Taurus, the midpoint between the two Scorpio Full Moons, making it less about new beginnings than most New Moons. This feels more like the time to evaluate progress and determine if we are doing business as usual or whether we have found better alternatives because if we haven’t, we need to. New Moon in Capricorn Thoughts

We have a New Moon in Capricorn on January 8th at 17° sextile Uranus at 15° Pisces. In a way this is the start of the New Year in an astrological sense and a great time to set out goals for ourselves for 2008. It’s a different world out there now, folks. The Fire sign party is over and we need to be prepared to put forth sustained effort to achieve our dreams. Earth signs are less inclined to be charmed and more inclined to want to see real results.

Prelude to Pluto in Capricorn?!

This chart is from one of Zogby’s latest polls concerning what traits people would like in the next leaders of this country. The word “manager” caught my eye as being very Capricornian. Even though Pluto is in the last degrees of Sagittarius, I believe we are starting to get hints of what’s coming and this poll is one in my opinion.
