Full Moon in Leo, February 7, 2012

The key to the Full Moon at 18° 32′ Leo on 7 February 2012 at 01:54 PM PST is Saturn stationing retrograde at 29° Libra. Full Moons are about opposing elements and this chart furthers that theme because the planets fall in a Seesaw Pattern with the Leo Moon, Mars in Virgo and Saturn in Libra opposing the rest. Oppositions present opportunities to learn about cooperation and compromise which fall under Libra’s aegis, and if we refuse to do either of those, what’s left is deepening polarization.

Saturn stations generally mean we [...]

Leo Full Moon, February 18, 2011

© Diane Lang

If you love heated debates, then you will love the Full Moon at 29° 20″ Leo on February 18, 2011 12:36 AM PST. Fixed air dominates and combined with the bold, dramatic, fiery Moon in Leo, we end with . . . tah dah . . . hot air! Lots and lots and lots of hot air.

Leo New Moon, August 9, 2010

The chart of the New Moon in Leo at 17° 25” Leo on August 9, 2010 is clearly dominated by that pesky cardinal T-square and even though they are not aspecting each other by degree, the theme is about taking action and making changes whether we are ready or not.

The Sabian symbol for this New Moon in 18 Leo, “A chemist conducts an experiment for his students” encourages everyone to take advantage of opportunities to try something new, something most of us with plenty of fixed signs in our charts view with a great deal of caution. Leo [...]

Back to Jupiter: Beneficent or Not?

Since Jupiter has moved into Aquarius, I’ve been getting more feedback from people who were anticipating lots of kisses from the big guy and what they got was more of whatever was already happening in their lives. Now I have a natal Sun-Jupiter conjunction, and a spouse who has Jupiter conjunct his Mercury and Moon in the first house so I’m intimately familiar with Jupiter’s affects . . . and as I’ve said before, I have serious reservations about Jupiter’s reputation for bestowing blessings.

So this is my latest theory about how Jupiter functions, either natally [...]

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo, February 9, 2009

Lunar Eclipse

Eclipses come in pairs, with the solar eclipse followed by a lunar eclipse, and this Full Moon in Leo is the lunar eclipse of this set opposing another huge stellium in Aquarius. We are being reminded once more of the necessity of looking beyond our immediate circle of family and friends to consider the needs of the many and how we as individuals are connected to humanity as a whole.

At the Full Moon, the Sun is part of a waxing conjunction with both Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius, illuminating the possibility of healing the wounds of alienation [...]
