New Moon in Gemini Musings

I have Gemini on my mind these days what with Gemini’s ruler Mercury retrograde and messing with bits and pieces of my life. The New Moon on June 3 will be falling on my North Node in Gemini emphasizing the need to pay attention to all things Gemini. And since this transit is taking place in my 7th house, partnerships in general are also demanding attention.

Second Full Moon in Scorpio – May 19/20

Full Moon in Scorpio

  The Full Moon on May 19 (May 20 in the Eastern Hemisphere) falls at 29° Scorpio, just before the Sun leaves Taurus and enters Gemini. This is called the “anaretic degree” or “critical degree” and marks the ending of a phase. It is an opportunity to review our understanding of the lessons of the sign involved.

Scorpio has been the focal point of this last cycle from Full Moon to Full Moon, and hopefully most of us have had realizations about what we need to let go of or release to the highest good.

Stasis – Mars & Mercury Stationing

Don’t know about other Mars/Mercury types out there but having both of these planets slowing down to Station, one turning Direct and the other Retrograde, is really hitting me hard. I feel like I’m moving in slow motion these days. This is not necessarily a bad thing, just feels very strange. Since it’s winter here in the northern latitudes and has been very, very cold, the world outside reflects this sense of stasis.

A Mercury Station Day . . . Long & Exhausting

Yesterday I spent the morning doing follow up training at my former day job. There were two young women, a year apart in age, I spent time with. One has been my friend for over 3 years (Libra Sun/Aries Moon) and the other (Virgo Sun/Aquarius Moon) is my replacement. The effect these two very different women have is startling. One energizes me and the other leaves me feeling drained. There is little to note about this on the surface as both are pleasant, friendly sorts. So, of course, I looked at our charts!

Emotions Highlighted: Mars in Cancer and Mercury in Scorpio

Mars just moved into the Water Sign of Cancer for an extended stay as he will going Rx in November in that sign.
