 We have a New Moon in Capricorn on January 8th at 17° sextile Uranus at 15° Pisces. In a way this is the start of the New Year in an astrological sense and a great time to set out goals for ourselves for 2008. It’s a different world out there now, folks. The Fire sign party is over and we need to be prepared to put forth sustained effort to achieve our dreams. Earth signs are less inclined to be charmed and more inclined to want to see real results. Uranus sextile this New Moon is a bonus [...]   I was reading about this New Moon in TMA and came across mention of this one triggering the Eclipse degree of the last Solar Eclipse, September 11th. That one had people all over the astro-blogosphere reeling and this post is in the nature of an alert! The New Moon will be 17° Sagittarius with the Sun and Moon framed by Mercury (12° Sagittarius) and Jupiter (27° Sagittarius). Mercury will be exactly conjunct my South Node in the 1st and that drew a “yikes” out of me. In fact, in the New Moon chart, Mercury is the apex of [...]  Don’t know about anyone else but I’m suffering from mental overload . . . Gemini does that to me and we’re had quite a busy Gemini season this year with mutable squares and oppositions from Uranus in Pisces, and Jupiter/Pluto in Sagittarius. And that unmentionable opposition that we’re ALL ready to have behind us!! The New Moon in Gemini is tomorrow evening at 23 Gemini and Mercury is going Rx at 11 Cancer late Friday.
