A Saturn squaring Venus Lament with Jupiter “Weighing” in

Saturn is getting closer to exactly squaring my Venus in Sagittarius in my first house and I’ve been noticing it. I have Libra, lots of Libra plus that Venus in the first. So it’s almost a given that caring for my appearance has been a major factor all my life. Now however, I am losing interest in the whole lily gilding process – neat and clean about does it. Looking at Sephora catalogs? Forget it. Shopping for new clothes is a pain in the ass partly because I don’t feel good about my body anymore. And that’s where [...]

A Look at Out-of-Sign Aspects . . . late in the game

I have been a student of Astrology for many years, sometimes focused intently and sometimes not. For some reason, the awareness of how out-of-sign aspects work is just beginning to penetrate my consciousness. Why that is I’m not sure . . . maybe having Neptune transiting my 3rd House is actually causing the fog to life. With Neptune, one never quite knows what to expect.

Saturn aspecting the Sun by transit always catches me off-guard with the weight and intensity he brings, no matter what the aspect is. This particular transit was also part of my Second Saturn Return. It took place in my 9th House and now that Saturn’s weight is starting to lift some of the effects are beginning to surface.

One thing in particular that occurred to me this morning is an awareness of the need to [...]

Saturn in Synastry . . . Neith’s take

A friend requested my take on how Saturn works in synastry between the charts. As a true Libra Sun person with a life-long fascination with how relationships work how could I say “no”? Over the years, I done a lot of reading relating to synastry plus looked at a lot of different relationships plus my own – especially my own! When it comes to Saturn, I still favor Steven Arroyo’s work in this area. He is a fellow Libra and has done extensive astrological relationship counseling over the years. Another favorite, Liz Greene, has what [...]
