No More Peeking Ahead

I have never been particularly intrigued with the predictive side of astrology, particularly for myself. Having no earth in my natal chart except a Virgo Midheaven and Uranus aspects to my luminaries, for many years I was caught up in projecting ahead. Not anymore.

Monday Morning Potpourri

Taking a few moments to let everyone know I’m alive and well if somewhat overwhelmed at the moment. We have started into serious harvest time and from now until mid-September [yes, when Saturn and Uranus make their next exact opposition] I will be one busy lady. We are enjoying all the fresh vegetables and berries immensely but getting the produce from the garden to the freezer or shelf is time consuming. There is a very good reason most people prefer to go to the local grocers or farmer’s market . . .

Mercury Standing Still . . . And so was I

Mercury is now officially direct but not going anywhere is a big hurry yet. I ended up taking a short trip out of town, and if I use the Koch house system, Mercury was stationing right on the cusp of my third house . . . short trips! Being away from home also kept me away from my computer and out of the communications loop.

Flooding Coming!!

A quick note to say we may have no power here shortly due to flooding! Hopefully this won’t happen but if it does, it could be a day or so before the water recedes and we’re back up and running. What a start to the new year and Jupiter’s arrival in Aquarius.
