Lighten Up Already!

Last week was overwhelmingly busy around here what with introducing my new puppy into our household and doing most of the cooking for two days of Thanksgiving meals. No wonder the tension of Uranus stationing took its toll on my nervous system. But now Uranus is officially direct and Venus has moved out of intense Scorpio for another year and into far more playful Sagittarius . Full Moon in Gemini, December 1-2, 2009

If you feel like you are about to go into orbit, it could be due to a very energetic Full Moon at 10° 15′ Gemini on December 1 (December 2 in the Eastern Hemisphere). The majority of planets are in fire and air signs for a change, but it would behoove us to remember there is a darker undertow beneath that shiny surface.

Happy T-Day and Other Miscellany

This year we get Uranus turning direct, a dashing New Moon in Sagittarius and here in the States, Thanksgiving, all on the same day. Now why do I get the feeling I’m going to be most grateful on Friday! I have been the chief cook for this event for many years and this time around is no exception.

All you Archers out there will be thrilled to learn that this is a quintessential New Moon in Sagittarius. Not only are the Sun and Moon conjoined at 5°49′ Sagittarius, but Mercury and Mars are within a couple of degrees as well. Yes, it’s time to celebrate Sagittarius!
